Adoc is the National Association for the Defense and Guidance of Consumers promoted by the UIL. Members are assisted by Adoc volunteer operators who are experts in consumer rights, able to give information to citizens, and qualified for conciliation and arbitration procedures. Adoc is strongly committed to promoting critical, sustainable, and responsible consumption, which has its basis in the deepest consumer awareness of all the dynamics inherent in products and services. An ethically, environmentally, and socially sustainable consumption.

Adoc promotes the simplification and reduction of Public Administration costs, has also distinguished itself for initiatives in defense of the purchasing power of workers, in contrasting tax evasion and avoidance, and in the development of financial education programs to protect savers.

Adoc reported the total uselessness and ineffectiveness of the current Italian law on class action, proposing substantial changes to make it more effective as it is in the American model.
